Remodeling
A "shotgun" style farmhouse, built near Bell, Fl. in 1898.
The floor joists had been placed on a foundation
of heart pine (light'erd, as we call it here) logs.
Most of them were still solid, after 104 yrs. of Florida weather.
Looks pretty hopeless here, doesn't it?

After the new foundation, windows, doors, floors, cabinets and a whole lot of jacking, straightening and patience. |
